I had the great opportunity of shooting, shaking hands and my photo being taken with the great Cuban pianist Omar Sosa www.omarsosa.com and his band last night March 11 at the 2008 Philippine International Jazz Fest http://www.pijazzfest.com/ at the Sofitel.

Once again, it was a natural high the whole night! It was a blast!

Prior to this unforgetable experience, I got a call earlier that day from my ex-bandmate Inky (who volunteered for the production) asking me to play for Manila-Paris Confidential for the same event on Friday. Wooohooo!!! But! Too bad I won't be able to make it because the band practices during the day, and I can't skip work....ARRGGGGHHHHH!!! Oh well.

My thanks to Tots Tolentino for helping me be part the event and Pia Sison and Erving Go for "my" photos. Thank you Jay Javier for the scans.

btw, i passed by penguin and oarhouse after. saw reg. fritz and i were together also during the concert. ate at dencio's by ccp...the best branch ever! hahahaha

agree! took mishka there after the ballet :)
I wonder if I can fit in any of the events into my sked. I am sick of working.
